Vehicle Preps - Flat Tires

What are your vehicle plans?

During a recent in-the-woods pew pew outing, I got a flat on the way up to the pit. Luckily it happened literally around 1-2 minutes away so I made my way there, but it was a total rim flat.

This was also my very first experience with a flat tire, and let's just say I'm over 30.

I admit, I didn't even realize my 4Runner HAD a spare tire (its under the vehicle on a winch).

However, coincidentally, I had just bought a 12v car adapter pluggable air compressor when I bought a battery pack jump starter. So at least I was able to fill up the tire (took two stops on the way down the mountain).

What is the point here? Have a vehicle prepping plan and supplies as well! Since this experience, I now have a tire patch kit (bought two), in addition to the pump and jump starter.
