OUPES 1200 Solar Powered Generator

Be Prepared

Power outages happen. Maybe less in urban/city where I live, but I still purchased a solar powered generator with panels, JUST in case.

My main goal with this, was actually for when I go out into the woods for pew pews, so that I can run my burner to heat water to cook Mountain House meals, or coffee/tea.

I originally bought some RockPals 300w solar power station, but it was not enough to run a burner. The oupes worked great, at least for the first test at home.

A two-quart kettle of water took around 25 minutes to fully boil to a whistle, leaving 58% battery. This is more than enough water for a few people to cook a package of mountain house and make some hot drinks.

The Amazon link above will take you to the single burner stove that I bought, an Elite Cuisine, and you can see it pulls around 800 watts.
